REVIEW: SZA’S ‘BROKEN CLOCKS’

So it’s officially SZA season.

Check out these wig securing techniques so you’re not out here looking crazy when Solana drops on June 9th.

While we eagerly await the release of her debut album, Ctrl, SZA has gifted us with track number 9. And it’s pretty clear at this point that she DID NOT COME TO PLAY WITH Y’ALL.

On the song, SZA passionately describes the feeling of moving on from a stagnant relationship, “but it’s still love.” So basically she’s preaching and reading at the same time. A multitalented queen.

The TDE songstress has grown vocally and conceptually since 2014’s Z and I really appreciate that. She’s talking shit directly and clearly.

Though it’s not an official single ‘Broken Clocks’ is officially my new favorite song. Listen to the retrospective track below.
